What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved to your device when you visit a site. Some are essential for the site to work and are always on. Others, such as analytics, are optional and only set with your explicit consent via the cookie banner.
Cookies we set
Essential — always on
- barone-consent — records your choice in the cookie banner (granted or denied) so we do not ask again. First-party, lasts one year.
- payload-token — the content-management session cookie, only ever set when an administrator signs in to the back office at /admin. Visitors never receive it.
Optional — only with your consent
- _ga and _ga_<id> — set by Google Analytics to build an aggregated, IP-anonymised picture of how the site is used. They are never loaded until you choose Accept, and last up to two years.
We use no advertising, marketing, or social-tracking cookies, and there are no third-party pixels (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn) on the site.
How to control cookies
- Use the cookie banner the first time you visit; it returns whenever you clear your cookies.
- Change your mind at any time by clearing the barone-consent cookie in your browser settings — the banner will reappear.
- Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings; doing so will not break the site.
